Tide Trilogy
The Tide Trilogy is the second major narrative arc, comprising Tide of Shadows (2023), Tide of Corruption (2023), and Tide of Desolation (2023-2024). It introduced Wild Targets and centers on the Murmurstone artifact, rival Pacts, and the opening of gateways to the Land of the Dead. Mr. Chary remains the main antagonist, and the arc culminates in the bayou being swallowed by Desolation.
Tide of Shadows (Jun-Aug 2023) was the tenth official event and introduced Wild Targets; the Murmurstone is brought to the bayou on Rotjaw's back. Tide of Corruption (Oct-Nov 2023) was the eleventh event / fourth Halloween event, with a 15-chapter story featuring Butcher's Cleaver, Burnt Marshall, Sofia, and Mr. Chary as the Demented and Death Pacts fight over the Murmurstone. Tide of Desolation (Dec 2023-Feb 2024) was the twelfth event / fourth Winter event, resolving the arc as a corrupted gateway multiplies the Sculptor's connection and the Land of the Dead overtakes the bayou.
