The Reptilian (Keith Cowen)

Keith Cowen apprenticed under alligator hunter Frank Gravel in the Bayou, but when creatures drove the gators away both men fell into desperation and poverty. Hunting one remaining gator, Cowen's greed overtook him and he murdered Gravel with a blade called Avarice while the man was busy with the animal. He wore the gator's skin as a trophy combining betrayal with victory, then joined the American Hunter's Association to continue his violent pursuits.
