Rotjaw
Rotjaw is the first Wild Target, a massive, dangerous alligator that spawns at fixed spots near water in the open world rather than inside a compound. She rests on riverbanks but dives underwater when threatened, surfacing only when Hunters wade into nearby water, which makes her very hard to hit from range or with explosives. As a Wild Target she does not need to be banished and grants instant full-health restoration on her death.
⚔ Weaknesses / how to kill
She shoots electric arcs that drain all stamina and, when enraged, charges faster than a Hunter can run, knocking them down for heavy damage. Because she hides underwater, the main tactic is to bait her ashore or onto land/riverbank and focus fire when she surfaces; fighting her in open water is strongly discouraged.
Where: Open world near water (rivers/lakes). Originally Bayou maps only (the first three maps).
verified=false. Introduced in the Tide of Shadows event (Update 1.13). Found by investigating traces that only reveal her direction, not exact location.
