Mr. Orwell Chary
Mr. Orwell Chary was an Administrator of the American Hunters Association, rising to the role following Finch's promotion, and is the main antagonist of the Moon and Tide event trilogies. He first appears as a contract provider in the Winter Solstice event before becoming central to the larger plot. He conducts dangerous experiments and is connected to the Infernal/Demented Pact that worships the Sculptor.
Chary exploits chaos to further his own machinations, manipulating events from within the AHA. A byproduct of his experiments is a toxin carried by the Hive Bomb's insects that disables optical organs and cellular rejuvenation in Hunters and causes rapid necrosis in regular subjects. In the Tide of Corruption story, letting Chary set his plans in Finch's absence proves catastrophic, contributing to the unleashing of Desolation. His associated cosmetics evoke greed, eternal suffering, and dark ritual.
