Grunt
Grunts are the most common enemy in the world, melee-only humanoids with malformed hearts pumping dark fluid through larvae-infested veins. They come in many variants that attack barehanded or wield cleavers, torches, poisoned saws, pistols, lanterns or mining lamps, and different variants inflict bleed, burn or poison. They sometimes kill themselves by walking into fire.
⚔ Weaknesses / how to kill
Killable with any weapon; vulnerable to headshots and limb damage. Non-lethal arm hits make armed variants (Cleaver, Torch, Lantern) drop their weapons. Fire is effective against most variants; headshots are useful to destroy Miner Grunt lamps. Two barehanded melee hits remove a health chunk.
