The Conspirator (Francis Fawkes)

Francis Fawkes, calling himself The Conspirator, claims descent from Guy Fawkes. As a British naval officer he sabotaged a dozen warships with explosives and precision gunfire before being captured, tried for conspiracy, and sentenced to burn. On November 5th he was paraded and burned atop a historic bonfire dressed as an effigy; the fire fused his mask to his scarred face, but he survived long enough to escape and flee to the Louisiana bayou to continue his crusade against authority.
