The Bone Mason (Béatrice Maunet)

Searching Paris desperately for her missing son Henri, Béatrice Maunet ventured into the Catacombs and found his decomposing remains, then began ritualistically arranging his bones within the catacomb walls. Over years of isolation in the dark she lost her identity and became 'the Bone Mason,' a phantom appearing when Notre-Dame's bells struck midnight, carrying a satchel said to be bound with her son's own skin. A mysterious letter eventually drew her to the Louisiana bayou in search of other tormented souls.
