Hunt: Showdown 1896's summer live event. Two military scouts vanish while investigating the spread of the Corruption across Louisiana and Colorado — and Command sends hunters down the road to hell after them. The event runs all summer with its own progression, rewards and story beats.

The latest patch within Road to Hell buffs the Uppercut, restores proper Special Long Ammo behavior, and fixes several localization bugs.
The It Takes a Rogue DLC launched June 10, adding the legendary hunter The Ironclad, inspired by the story of Australian outlaw Ned Kelly.
New Stronghold locations now feature the prototype Maxim 1895 machine gun, fired from the hip with 50 non-resupplyable incendiary rounds.
The new 1890 Cavalry rifle is a single-shot, size-3 Long ammo weapon built for high damage at range. · details →
Update 2.8 replaced weapon size categories with a numeric 1-5 point system and merged Tool and Consumable slots into 8 flexible Equipment Slots.
Krag, Mosin-Nagant M1891, Berthier 1892, and Lebel 1886 moved to the new shared Special Long Ammo type with the highest damage and bullet velocity.
The Road to Hell event adds the Stronghold Compound location with the 26th Regiment storyline and a free Story Challenge, Let the Gunshots Ring, for newcomers.
